Amy Huberman impressed in a floral on mesh gown by Grafton Academy alumnus Umit Kutluk at the IFTA Awards 2016. The dress won’t be available until July due to the pain-staking amount of work that goes into creating just one dress, with Umit saying it could take half a day just to hand-stitch one of the flowers.
“I loved my time at the Grafton Academy. With the excellent tuition I received I feel completely confident in my pattern making and sewing skills to go on and work in the industry. The standards of the student’s work was first class and I feel very lucky to have been surrounded by such a level of talent.”
