The Grafton Academy offers creative summer courses in Fashion Design and Dressmaking, full-time or part-time during the summer for beginners or refreshers. Teaching is by individual attention within a classroom environment to cater for different skill levels from beginning to advanced.
All ages are welcome, from young to mature. No previous experience is required.
Our Fashion Design courses are excellent for the person who wants to learn how to construct
their own patterns and sew their own designs, beginning with skirts, trousers, tops or a simple
dress. Further modules can be taken according to the student’s requirements, to build up skills
and techniques. These Fashion Design courses are fexible to suit your preference.
The Dressmaking course is perfect for the person who wishes to learn how to use a commercial
