If schooldays are the best days of your life, then evening classes are the best evenings of your life and the good news is that you can fit them in around your other commitments. Evening classes in Dressmaking and Fashion Design start back next Tuesday and Wednesday evening – and there are still some spaces available.

You can start anytime as teaching is by individual attention in a classroom environment that caters for different skill levels from beginning to advanced.

Our Fashion Design courses are excellent for the person who wants to learn how to construct their own patterns and sew their own designs, beginning with skirts, trousers, tops or a simple dress. Further modules can be taken according to the student’s requirements, to build up skills and techniques.

The Grafton Academy of Fashion Design, offers a variety of different professional courses, which cater for all ages and experiences. From our 3 year, full-time Fashion Design Diploma course through to part-time, evening and weekend courses. If you simply want to follow your creative passion as a pastime we have flexible Fashion Design and Dressmaking courses to suit you. Our practical, hands-on approach to learning encourages talent, but also provides order and structure enabling the students to develop the required skills and techniques needed by the graduates to work within the fashion industry. You will learn how to design and make any garment from start to finish and travel the world with the skills you have gained. The Grafton Academy is unique as you can start our fashion design courses at any time of the year depending on availability and there are no set intake dates for our full-time Diploma students.

You can check out our website to get an idea of the type of thing our students get up to. If you’d like to pop by to see us we are participating in Dublin Culture Night on Friday evening the 22nd of September where we’ll have fashion shows at 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00 to showcase our students work. We’ll have live demonstrations throughout the evening too so it’s great way to get to get a feel for the place and talk to students and staff.

Drop us an email for further info or give us a call on 01 6767940 and we’d be happy to answer any of your questions or just have a chat about which course would be best for you.
